Just as a musician thinks in sounds and rhythms, I think in visual language. This is where 'visuals' comes to play a significant role for me. I am interested in getting into the minds of viewers through fresh and strange visuals. Thus, I have been exploring ways of making blister packs feel aesthetically ‘striking’ through my studio experiments since 2020. Now, these empty medical packets become something they were never intended to be. They were meant to be landfill. Now they are art. I find myself responding to this environmental emergency as an artist who engages consciously with the quantity of medical waste we produce every day. Ultimately, I see my practice as a demand for a change in sensibility.
